A QSL card is a confirmation of a contact made. This can be both digital (this I do via eqsl.cc, Logbook of the World and HRDlog.net) and analogue. And by analogue, I mean paper. These cards can sometimes make a whole world trip before I receive them.
I’m a member of the VERON, my club and the other Dutch club VRZA have some sort of “post office” from which all the paper cards are sent, to the other “post offices” elsewhere in the world. Where the cards are handed over to the radio amateur. The process is a little more complicated than I wrote it here. But in general, this is what happened to the card.
Currently [September 2018] I have:
– 554 qso’s made with 55 countries
